Message from the East – March

Brethren, the world needs Freemasonry.  There is no hiding from the current events that are taking place around the world, it seems that now, more than ever, the population would benefit from the tenants of the craft.  Faith, Hope, and Charity should be exemplified by every Mason in his daily life.  I encourage you to recall the lessons taught in each degree and remember how to put your working tools to better use.  I would also like to remind you that in April I will be hosting an online webinar to discuss “The Builders” by Joseph Fort Newton.  This month will be full of Masonic activities, I encourage you to visit the First Masonic District’s website to stay connected to all the happenings within the district lodges.

I would like to thank those that have expressed an interest in our first ever Lecture Series, and hope everyone finds it as informative and enjoyable as I know it will be. I feel our membership and district at large, will benefit greatly from these educational opportunities.  I also want to remind you that a Director from Masonic Villages will be speaking at our Stated Meeting, to talk about some of the requirements to become a resident of the Masonic Villages.  The Director will also take a few moments to answer any questions you may have, so please be sure not to miss this informative session.  Following the Director’s presentation, Brother Joshua D. Parmer, PM will provide a Masonic Education on the scripture references in Freemasonry. I look forward to seeing you at our Stated Meeting, as well as throughout the active month.

Also, be sure to check your digital Lodge notice for a link to vote on next month’s meal before the stated meeting. The members have voted and before this month’s stated meeting we will be having Beef Stew and Biscuits!

Your Humble Servant,
Worshipful Master L. Kenneth Bray III
